A
UK native and a resident of Canada, producer Lazy Rich has had an
incredible few years. Rich is credited for being a pioneer in
'complextro', a cutting edge sound on the forefront of the electronic
music evolution. His music has seen an incredible amount of production
success, both as chart toppers and underground hits with #1s on
Beatport, Trackitdown, Juno The Buzz Chart and over 100 tracks charting
in the Beatport electro top 100. He has done remix work for such musical
icons as Lady Gaga, Fatboy Slim, Deadmau5, Chris Lake, Morgan Page,
Zedd, Porter Robinson, X-Press-2 and many more while collaborating on
tracks with Chris Lake and Porter Robinson. His SoundCloud page marked
an amazing Half-Million plays at the start of Dec, 2011, just 12 Months
after its inception, while within the industry he has gained support
from heavyweights such as Tiesto, David Guetta, Skrillex, Dada Life,
Chuckie, Pete Tong, Norman Cook, Laidback Luke, Carl Cox, Armand Van
Helden, Fedde Le Grande and many more.
The DL
The venue, which has a retractable roof and a full kitchen, can host a variety of special events from dinner parties to corporate product launches. It boasts two separate rooms that can operate independently or in conjunction with one another, accommodating a wide range of parties and special events.
Dinner on Ludlow is the newly launched restaurant/bar on the first floor of The DL with Executive Chef John Keller creating an American Bistro menu offering a collection of reimagined comfort food with a modern twist. The meticulous design of the room, with high ceilings, yet still remaining warm and comfortable. Bordered by floor to ceiling glass windows, the open-plan space features a long bar, plenty of intimate tables and banquettes amid a gothic elegant décor of crystal chandeliers, dark wood and ornate metal filigree that creates a relaxed cozy space, enhancing the dining experience.
The Red Light Room on the second floor is the perfect space for a Private Dining experience, cocktail reception, or any private function.
The third floor rooftop is the crown jewel of The DL. Its spacious room, retractable roof, and outdoor patio are a one of a kind experience that transports you away from the streets and offers an entirely new perspective of the Lower East Side.
